And today I will be discussing a common question that I received fairly often. And the question is why own franchise business? Let's first review the popular investment options that are available to everyone today. Wall Street, it's where I started with the family business. It's a place for people to invest in long-term stocks, bonds, crypto NFT, Bitcoin, etc. all popular today. What is your investment level? And what is your risk tolerance? That is the question as well. Real Estate is the second part of the trifecta, you get to play a real-life monopoly buying commercial buildings fixing and flipping single-family homes for a profit, or buying an investment property like a single-family home or even a duplex or two and you can even rent it out. And the third piece we're going to be talking about today, Main Street America, small and medium-sized businesses. And we'll be talking about business investments today. businesses are the lifeblood of America. When you are a business owner, you can make a great income, employ your family, if you desire, have some great write-offs and tax deductions. And don't forget about the component of building equity in this business. Just like owning a home. I know plenty of people that have purchased franchises. As an example, I know plenty of people that have purchased franchises for under $150,000, and then sold those businesses later and became multimillionaires. So if you are watching, I know plenty of people that have purchased franchises, for example, for under 150,000, and then sold their businesses years later and became millionaires. Millionaires. Pretty amazing. So you're watching this video, which means you are probably interested in having your own business? Well, that's our focus for this conversation today. Do you have a business idea? Do you have an idea for a business that you would like to create? Most people don't. Most people don't feel strongly enough about their business idea to go all in and launch a brand new business from scratch. So a fantastic option for business owners is to find your perfect franchise. So let me give you my best reasons as to why you should own a franchise. So here we go. Number one, you get to be the boss, but you already knew that. So franchise ownership gives you independence, which is what everybody desires. Everybody wants to be independent. But the other piece of it is you get independence with guardrails. Okay, you know what a guardrail is right you driving down the road, and those same guardrails that keep your car on the road keep your business on the road and focused in the right direction. The best franchisors, the folks that own these franchise brands, do provide you with an amazing roadmap to help you succeed and get there as fast as possible. From the training, support marketing, and purchasing operations technology, it's all been figured out for you to ask for help as you need it. It's like a buffet of best practices between the franchisor and best-performing franchisees you have so many people to help you be successful. The next reason I would say is to minimize your risk. So if you were going to create your business from scratch, there is an enormous amount of risk. And when you do it for the franchise. Again, you have a roadmap, you've probably all heard the saying, in business for yourself, not by yourself. Well, in this situation, you have all the support that you need. Real Estate, and Wall Street business ownership have different degrees of risk. What exactly is your risk tolerance? Anyway? When you work with a franchise consultant like myself or a franchise broker, we're going to show you the best-proven brands and the most successful brands that fit your investment level, your goals, your skill set, and your lifestyle. And let's talk about the third biggest reason I would say for today is definitely funding most people don't have all their own cash or if they do back to number two, which is a risk, they don't want to risk all of their investment. So how do you fund your business? Financing is certainly a popular option. And no one wants to use 100% of their own cash OPM. Remember that expression that saying? I had an uncle that told me that in 1989? I think it was, I heard him first say other people's money, other people's money because there are successful franchises out there. Following the same business model, the Small Business Administration will give SBA loans to franchise businesses because they know they have a much higher degree of success. And they want to give money to stimulate the local economy and employ local workers. So if you do a franchise, the large majority of franchise brands are going to be listed on the SBA registry. Because there is a model of success to follow expect to put down about 25% up to 25%. For working capital, especially as you get launched, most businesses don't come out of the gate, printing money. And thankfully, you have a business line to follow. Franchise blueprint that is certainly an original, which is a good thing. Other franchisees, that same type of business plan to get launched and banks understand your path to success specific brands that they're familiar with, and they've underwritten before.
